Neshanic Garden Club plans 2012 trip to Holland

Neshanic Garden Club President Diana Reinhardt has announced a scheduled trip to visit Holland at the peak of the tulip season next spring.

Departure Sunday, April 15 and returning Monday, April 23, 2012, the land tour is $2,250 plus air fare of $1,140. The minimum number of people needed for this tour is 21 and the maximum is 45. The land price lowers for each five people above the minimum.
All are welcome. The tour includes 7 nights at 4-star hotels with breakfast, 2 or 3 lunches, and 3 dinners included.

Sights include Floriade which is a World Horticultural Expo staged once every ten years in the Netherlands; Keukenhof Garden, 32 hectares of beautiful tulips and other spring bulbs and one of Holland’s most popular destinations; Aalsmeer Flower Auction, where flowers are auctioned for the world market; Dr. Costerus Botanic Garden, 70 years of education projects, an oasis of color, plants, shrubs, and ponds; Palace of Het Loo, the former Royal Palace of Queen Emma; De Locht Farmstead and Museum built in 1859 depicting farm life; Canal Dinner Cruise; and a free day in Amsterdam.
