Two landscape exhibitions opened in Almere 'Flevoziekenhuis'

ALMERE - Thursday afternoon in the Indoor Street Flevoziekenhuis two landscape exhibitions opened: 'Silence Alive landscape' and 'Travelling Landscape'.
The opening was done by Cor Calis, Director Alliances Flevoziekenhuis and Henk Meijer, Project Director Almere Floriade 2022.


At the exhibition "Still Alive landscape", on display until 25 January 2013, participate in the artists Rob Weddepohl, Charlotte Arends, Ko van Velsen, Martin Sketch. The model-exhibition "Travelling Landscape" is on show until 14 December 2012. 
Scenery Theme The theme landscape over the centuries artists continue to fascinate. This has also visions of landscape in the (art) history preserved. It's a difference if you walk across the landscape as enjoying observer or as an artist, the atmosphere and wonder of the landscape trying to pack on the canvas or on paper. 
Through years of studies of landscape artists have a special knowledge about and gathered a wealth of unique impressions preserved for posterity. For the viewer is enjoying beautiful artworks.

'Making Almere' Information Center for 'Floriade 2022'


The architectural manifestation Making Almere is transformed into information about  Almere and Floriade 2022, the city was  recently awarded.

The Information Center is
housed in Almere City Mall,
the shopping for the masterplan by OMA. 



Information on plans
In the New Collection are the future of Almere presented, which relate to the entire city wants to develop. Almere needs its own labor and provides space for experimentation and new businesses. Also planning and deciding on the IJmeer, the experimental organic development of Almere Oosterwold and the plan for the Floriade Growing Green Cities in 2022 to a design by MVRDV are discussed.

Thinking

Visitors can think about the further development of the city. It is possible to come up with ideas, which will be exhibited. Thinking can also by playing Play Oosterwold a simulation on the still developing field Oosterwold in Almere Hout.
